Oooh, Nice. I've been thinking about some graphical instruments myself, but trying to decide if I should code in C++Builder (most familiar) or jump into Flash or Python. Need a beta tester?

I'll post the source after I spend the weekend flight testing. You can easily change it to be compatible with ArduPilot, although it will only be 1 way communications. I'm jumping through a lot of hoops to do 2-way.

does this run on a computer? If so windows machine and how beefy?

It's Flash - what you normally see in a web browser. I can make executables with it so you could run it as a standalone app. You'll still need to run Serproxy in the background to connect to the XBee modules.
Should run fine on any PC or Mac less than 5 yrs old.

I think there's alot of ground station code out there (see my VB HUD), yours has very beautiful graphics !!! And you have a nice feature with the uplink.

Hi Nathaniel,
This is compatible. It runs when you set the GCS protocol to 5 "Jason's GCS"

I use a piece of software to connect Adobe Flash to the serial port called Serproxy. That's the tricky part. It also does not record the telemetry to a file. You need to copy paste to do that.

When I get home tonight, I'll post the latest as an exe.
