bummer!  So I can avoid similar breakage - what was the maneuver 'regular' or a tight loop?  high energy pull out?

Rod was broke during an hardlanding (not a scratch on the fuselage by miracle) ... I was unable to find a new rod 1.2m so I attempted to repair it by putting a bigger rod over two part of the rod and glue it with a lot of epoxy.

I also tested it by applying high force on the rod before flight it seemed okay. It hold 3 flights (windy) but during third flight it broke. No particular manoeuver, maybe a little bit too fast.

Maybe fatigue of the material, so next time I will never again try to repair a carbon rod.

It is also a little bit overpowered (not stock motor) I never go above 1/2 throttle.

I still don't recommand you to do loop with bixler :P Too heavy, too large not enough reinforcement ;)
