Loving this style, this is exactly what i'm looking for, this is perfect for www.floorink.com . Do you have any more images like this style and what are you shooting on? Frame and camera

Thanks,

This is a small section of a set of stitched/mosaiced images shot for the DIYDrones T3 competition round 4, last winter. I think there was about 150 individual images.

I also have one other similar set shot from a slightly lover altitude. They were all shot using a Canon Ixus 980IS camera, 14.6Mpix; frame(?): 4416 x 3312.

You are welcome. The images can be found here: http://www.uavmapping.com/index.php?p=1_8_Aerial-photos

If you plan to download all the images, I would suggest using the "Down Them All" plug-in for Firefox, which makes the downloading much easier. http://www.downthemall.net/

Hi brakar, i am a newby in this area, that is using the UAV´s for mapping, but this subject cought my atemption very deep. So i have several doubts regarding differents topics, but for the moment the most important is how to get the camera shooting by itself in the air, i mean what device are you using to get the camera shooting on stand alone mode. Thanks.

BTW, i am using a skywalker with a pentax a10 camera, but if you can say wath did you use with your canon camera its enaugh

Hi Andreas. My main reason for using Canon cameras have been chdk and the possibilities it offers. E.g. use of scripts for timebased interval shooting, or (my favorite); remote control by the autopilot. The method I was using in the T3-4 round is described here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1137076&highlig...

On the autopilot side, the way of activating the trigger will offcource vary from one ap to another. (For APM, I have not managed to find out if or how it can be implemented).

Your winter picture makes me share mine, a 360 aerial I did on Christmas day, using a GoPro camera, from 80m altitude, using a Quad-H
