Hi Bjarni.  I did have a very crude model running in X-plane but I have since then begun to understand the limitations of X-plane's aero modelling capabilities and not really pursued this much further.  I now have my own real-life Skyfun under construction, so I might revisit this X-plane model soon to help configure my APM before I fly for real.

OK,

I Have got a Skyfun model that I am just starting to fly a bit more aggresively than just a beginner, but I am almost a beginner in this.

will you have an APM 2.5 with airspeed sensor on yours? I have only got APM 2.0 with no airspeed sensor, however I am thinking to get an airspeed sensor (not that I need it really much, the model flies beautifully).I am hopefully going to start to fly FPV very soon as the sprin is aproaching in Iceland :) you can watch my youtube channel at www.youtube.com/fpvs8 if you like, I have also got videos shot from my Bixler and a Skywalker and my recently built tricopter :)

I will follow your post and see how things goes, if any questions then feel free to ask :)
