Telemetry data visualized in Google Earth
Comment by Rick Eis on October 5, 2012 at 10:27pm Very cool - I know how to make tracks like this with a Garmin but how do you do this with your drone ? Are you flying with an APM2 ?
Comment by jaron on October 6, 2012 at 4:08pm I recorded the track with GPS attached to an Arduino and sent it via an XBee module to the ground station. That was before APM existed, if i remember right.
Comment by Rick Eis on October 6, 2012 at 7:45pm So....any idea how to do with an APM2?

Just need to have the telemetry link in mission planner, then export to KML and import into Google Earth. Should do it.
