Hi Nick,

Interesting, geophysics is a small field so its a surprise to see someone with with geophysics experience with an interest in RC and autopilots.

That was nice of Andrew to talk to you about our project after signing a confidentiality agreement.  We're getting close to commercialising now, so its not such a big issue.

It is a really cool project and so far its been a big challenge. The autopilot configuration hasn't been easy.  Its always two steps forward one step back.  When the one step back results in you crashing your aircraft it can be quite trying.  But we're nearly there.  We've just finished developing some really cool hardware that we're going to strap onto the aircraft on the next test, it should be interesting to see how it goes.

Are you looking for water around tropicana?  I did a heliEM survey out there once for water.  Did you get good MT results from the solar storm a couple of weeks ago.  I assume you're working with one of Andrews companies either EMIT or Vortex?

Hi Adam,

I also responded in a non-public message two days ago - I only then realised that these were on a public 'wall'.  I hope it's clear that Andrew was really very cagey and gave me nothing close to vital information.

Sadly we weren't doing MT while the Sun was 'going off'.  Then again, it's a great time of year NOT to be digging coil trenches, so p'raps it isn't that 'sad'!  It's horrible enough lugging receivers and dragging loops out here in the 40 degree heat.
