Ardupilot firmware not working !

I downloaded the px4 console and installed the firmware using "make px4-v2-upload". After the firmware uploads, I do the necessary calibration. However, when I try to arm, I get a Prearm: Need 3D fix error on mission planner. The error is due to geofence being enabled. When I disable the geofence I can arm the drone but then I cannot use RTL. I really want geofence as a…See More

"Hey Chris, This is a very cool project. I was wondering if you can send data in the form of mavlink meesages to pixhawk via beaglebone using Telem 1 instead of Serial 4/5? Would this eliminate the need to load compiled code on arducopter? From what…"

"are you using the rc override in the script? if so just set all the pwm's to 0, and send a packet, that will remove the rc override"

How to restore control back to RC when running a Python Script in mission planner

So I have developed a python script to arm a quadrotor, fly a guided mission, return to launch and disarm. However, I am interested in getting back control of the rotor while the script is in progress incase something goes wrong. Can I put a failsafe case for this in python script or do I have to look into mavlink framework to achieve this.See More
