"HI Michael, I don't think I can help you with the moving map efis idea, although it sounds very interesting. I expect you'd have to add some form of GPS to the system to determine your location. I don't know anything about Visual…"

"Bill, I think your equation 11 is an insufficient constraint on A to define it. For vectors a, b of equal length that subtend theta there is a rotation from a to b for every angle {theta, 2pi-theta}. You're assuming the shortest rotation…"

Thank you for your interesting article on the design of an Attitude Heading Reference System. The hardware I can understand the programming is going to take quite a bit of work. I know as I go along I will have some questions for you. One thing that I am very interested in is the incorporation of a moving map. Is the software used in the moving maps on some EFIS systems adaptable to the firmware written in Visual Basic 2010 Express and also the ino 0.3.3 in the arduino hardware. The mongoose 9DoF with Barometric pressure sensor  has bootloader. Does it also have some of the firmware such as the Mongoose 9DoF v1.1 Visualizer and also Mongoose 9DoF Base AHRS 11 zip?
