Enabling Optical flow screws up eeprom?

Started Nov 23, 2013 0 Replies

I have an ardupilot 2.0 with the latest arducopter firmware on it.  I've soldered the optical flow connections to the board and it's worked in the past.  If I leave it disabled in the software I…Continue

APM Planner Force Feedback

I was wondering if there was a way to take accelerometer/gyro values from Mission Planner and send them over serial or usb to an arduino where I could then run servos and vibration motors?  The part…Continue

I recently recieved my 3DR hexacopter kit with the 880kv motors. I recieved two versions of the same motor in the kit. The one version has a small hole on the top frame and a sticker I believe and…Continue

"I'd imagine you'd be able to hold more weight if you made a mount that prevented the package from rolling along the EPM's axis.  Look at how bombs and drop tanks are mounted on airplanes: …"

Enabling Optical flow screws up eeprom?

I have an ardupilot 2.0 with the latest arducopter firmware on it.  I've soldered the optical flow connections to the board and it's worked in the past.  If I leave it disabled in the software I don't have any issues, but when I go enable it the quad is unresponsive, i can't connect to the apm or anything.  None of the red, blue, or yellow indicator leds light up, except for the power led.  The only way to fix it is to upload a non arducopter firmware like ardurover, then go back and reload…See More

"Helimax has come out with the 1Si, which is a clone of this quad.  I got one, looks just like a mini Phantom right down to the led's on the arms and the battery compartment.  Not as nimble as my Nano Qx, but the video isn't bad."

"I think i'll do the same sort of thing with my y6, but extend an arm between the front two to hold the ghost out in front so the copter is hidden behind, and extend the back arm and put the battery back there for balance."
