I've done what research I can but am not getting very far. I've got a Futaba T7 set up with a six position rotary switch and resistors for flight modes and it works well (Futaba Channel 6). I've also…Continue

"Thank you. So let me confirm. If I check the simple Mode Box in next to the flight mode, the flight path will fly as per the Simple orientation. I do not have to activate Simple Mode via Channel #7 on the APM2's inputs? It just seemd that in…"

"When you set up the flight modes in the mission planner just check the 'simple mode' box next to it. That makes simple mode permanent for that selection. On my quad I have all flight modes checked to 'simple'. No need…"

Interlock for GPS acquisition

Is there a provision I haven't found for interlocking the motor arming for the GPS>Inever expect to use the hex in any mode other than one of the GPS centric modes. I think my crash the other day may have been related to a GPS issue. I rearmed after a tinly flip over on an RTL landing. I may not have waited long enough. As I recall the blue led had locked. I havefound it does much when it can acquire more sats and leave it sitting for several minutes upon powering before arming. I wouldl ike…See More

Could someone help me with downloading a log? I've had an unexplained crash.

I have been tuning a hex X with 2.5.5 and things have been getting better. I did a loiter test today using sonar and it held very well. I let the machine sit for some time to get the best GPS resolution it could. I added simple mode and it worked well. I did an RTL and it did well landing within 10' or so of arming. When it landed, it flipped with no obvious damage. I went back to stabile mode and rearmed and took off again. If acted uncomfortabely pretty soon. I started trying to get it stable…See More
