I successfully assembled, configured, and flew a jdrones quadracopter with an APM 1 and IMU shield from Sparkfun. I was putting together an EM406 connector to add a a San Jose FV-M8 GPS receiver to the copter. I assembled the cable and attached the receiver to the  EM406 connector and connected the USB cable from the IMU shield to the PC. I ran the Planner app and connected throuth the Terminal.
