- About Me:
- I'm a electronics engineer who wishes he had become a pilot. The next best thing was to get into flying model helicopters and planes. After attaching a video camera to my helicopter and enjoying the footage at the end of a session I quickly realized that it wouldn't take much to view the video live. So for the past 6+ years I've been remotely piloting my helicopter and have recently set up the same system on a plane (for longer flight time).
- Tell us a bit about your UAV interest
- My interest in UAV's has evolved into two areas. 1st area is propulsion: how can I get the longest possible endurance flight.
2nd area is sensors: could my UAV be of real use. other than video surveillance are there any other forms of data I could collect from up there.
