Hi All,I have a situation where after upgrading to some high-end ESCs, I have one at random go into calibration mode. This happens on about 1 in 4 flight attempts. The only way to restore proper…Continue

"As you've tried taking off the VTx extension the only thing I can think of is checking the prop tracking, often a cause of high Z vibs, a slightly bent shaft could also cause this. Run up the motors slowly and from the side watch for the tips…"

"To close the loop on this issue... After programming fixed throttle endpoints in the ESCs, my problem seems to be resolved. The is not the preferred solution, but it is an acceptable work-around. Thanks to all for the help and suggestions."

"Thanks guys. You have answered my question quite well and I appreciate it. I'm using the 885kv motor. What is most surprising to me is the motor-to-motor variance in vibration, without props. One motor needs no balancing. The others I have…"

KDE Driect motor vibration issue

Hey All,Does anyone have personal experience with KDE motors? I have two sets of four; one set each of two sizes. The larger size seems to work fine, but the smaller size, 2315 have serious vibration issues. Even balancing them the best I can with the cell phone method I can't get them precise enough for my gimbal to stabilize or to get jello-free video. Of the four, only one didn't require balancing. The other three have varying degrees of nastiness. I'm disappointed. I expected what the…See More
