"If you will be using a two-way telemetry, waypoints can be virtually unlimited since you can transmit new waypoints over-the-air. However, pre-programmed waypoints are only limited by memory. Arduplane has autonomous take-off and landing, however,…"

"As long as your BEC can handle the current being drawn you should be fine. If your servos need more than 5v you can pull the JP1 jumper to isolate the output power rail from the rest of the APM (APM is then powered by input rail). You can then…"

I was wondering from the point of power supply to a servo. If i'm using a very high torque servo on just one part and it's about 4 feet away from my APM2.5 can I have it connected to the APM 2.5's servo pin? or do I have to put something in between to boost the voltage?See More

"Ardupilot should be able to do this fine. The most difficult part is going to be designing a rocket that can transition to winged flight, I assume I've read your intentions correctly?"

Profile Information

About Me:
Just want to make my senior project. But I need help to get started since I'm new to this. All the experiences I had is a small coaxial helicopter
Tell us a bit about your UAV interest
want to have it fly a designated path back and it needs to be able to do it for over 5 miles. I need to have it land without stalling, no over speeding, and I will need video telemetry.
