"Ok, well I've successfully linked a fuzzy set into the global list. I sort of given up temporarily on the nested groups issue.  Lefebvre, I'm not sure what you've tried with adding a parameter but if you see Randy's advice…"

"Interesting. I wasn't aware such a thing existed. Yea, it's definitely possible that your blade motion is affecting stability. Do you find your heli flies differently with the soft head dampers on it?"

"Do you think that is true, even with soft head dampers?  I use soft dampers on my 600, and the rotor disk does move around a fair amount.  Maybe 10-15 degrees?"

"I figured I'd hop in and give my two cents on the rotor disk dynamics. On all the R/C type helicopters I've worked with, the hub is so rigid you can pretty much assume the rotor disk plane remains normal to the rotor shaft. This is what…"

"Craig, it sounds like you need to get on the developer email list.  You're doing some very advanced stuff. I missed the part where you said group within a group.  Yes, I remember seeing that RC_Channel_Aux is the only one that has…"

"Yeh I had seen those and others. There are several libraries that correctly implement them. The trouble is none of them use nested groups. I really need groups within groups. Only the RC_Channel_aux class does as I previously…"

Integrating Fuzzy Logic controllers in ArduCopter

Hi, my name is Craig Cobabe. Some of you may have seen Chris Pitt's discussion in this group. I have joined Chris in a design project for school in which we are going to implement a Fuzzy Controller in ArduCopter. I've been developing a fuzzy controller library to be compatible with APM and we have even replaced the PI controller for pitch and had very promising results in HIL. I've hit a sort of road block that I'm not sure how to resolve. Currently there is no way to handle the fuzzy…See More
