"Sounds okay to me. You probably want to power the output rail with only one esc (or use the cable from the 3DR PDB which provides 5V from one of the ESCs)."

"No  You will brown out your APM.  APM is not intended to power Servos. Use a BEC for the power. Only connect signal wire of servos to the APM. "

Arduplane current draw

i am following this and this to calibrate my Arduplane. My current sensor (Fluke 33 True RMS Clamp meter) only reads 1.45 amps at 50% throttle on the ground and maxes out at about 2.5 amps. This doesn't sound correct - i expected it to be drawing 10 amps or more at 50 %.Any ideas ?thanksDamoSee More

minimosd black screen

Tonight i wired up my 1.1 3dr minimosd. I powered one side via the apm and the other side via the video power as documented. I only get a black screen. There appear to be many people with this issue. Tomorrow i am going to solder the two jumpers and only power via the apm. Am i waisting my time or is the board now fried?Where in the documentation does it say you MUST power the entire board using the apm as many people seem to suggest?Any advice appreciated.ThanksdamoSee More

"850uS is plenty of resolution, but you can also start with 1100 on the bottom and go to 2000 on top with no concerns.  You just want to make sure you'd never enter the failsafe area accidentally, but the Taranis doesn't flutter around…"

"In theory, yes. I don't know what the resolution of the Taranis and EzUHF is exactly, but we are probably losing the equivalent of 1 bit of resolution by doing this. I think other things going on i the flight controller are going to mask this…"
