If i hold my quad on the ground and spin the motors, two motors turn off at about 50% rpm. I have reflashed the ppm encoder, erased and reinstalled the firmware, replaced esc, calbibrated esc, replaced…Continue
"I have recently experienced the same problem on my Quad with my minimosd v.1,1 going on and off. Sommetider it does't work at all. The picture from fpv camera is stable - so nothing to do with the Tx. Sometimes it helps to reboot the…"
"Also what motor are you using? I use an NTM 3536 910kV with 4S battery and 10X6 prop for the weightlifter. I have 11" props to use however I have not used them yet. I have a custom motor mount for this plane that allows…"
"You could try a short bungee. Put a towhook in the wood between the wheels and use about 20m of elastic tube stretched back about 20 paces.
If you have an APM in it try the combination of bungee and auto take off. The APM does a really…"
I have put together a long range capable finwing penguin with 2 x 5000 mah batteries + ezuhf video equipment. I have to get a friend to hand launch it but its quite difficult to get right. I would say it takes 3 attempts to get it launched. Given that i dont want to reduce the battery capacity or weight is there a reliable and easy way to launch? See More

"yes, it will work, but you need to keep in mind that not all DVRs are created equal :) many introduce about half a second delay, others hang a lot and to regain your video feed you need to restart them. but there are pretty good ones too. "
It would appear that the largest purpose built widescreen FPV monitor is 10.1". When i say purpose built i mean it does not have the "blue screen" issue. I watched a video on youtube where the author stated that if you put a DVR inline with your video and then feed that to any screen , that it will never blue screen.Does anyone know if this is true or can try it ? If it worked then i would ditch my monitor, buy a DVR and use a 27" 12 volt screen.See More
