Hi Dave,

My Hexacopter max weight is 4 lbs-5oz with a GoPro, stabilized camera mount, leds 100% duty cycle and 5000mha Turnigy Lipo. I am also using Turnigy 2217 860KV brushless motors swing APC 11X4.7 Props. My static thrust is 13.2lbs with all six motors at full power. With my current configuration I have lifted 3 lb payloads at my home town elevation of 2,300ft. I am not sure if this is considered heavy lifting.
