About Me:
Flying scale models, 3D aerobatic flight and FPV/UAV built as hobby. Like to build DIY stuff and some 3D designs related to R/C models. Enjoy working on open source Arduino based FC: APM 2.5/2.6, Multiwii/Multinano and anything small pint size boards.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I like to sit inside scale model planes cockpit and fly. Usually i like a smaller size unmanned platform below 1 meter wingpan weighted lightweight below 700gram and super lightweight multirotor that floats for everything that flies because its challenging and safer. My aim is build the smallest possible platform using existing and cheaper technology for everyone to enjoy. Sharing is caring.

Hey i'm back, some good news!  After many years of community development, searching and building most efficient UAV for eco mission with less money to spent finally months of testing and much witnessed by our FPV and UAV community a new era of super portable size autonomous drone was born.  Its last flight was…

David,

Watched some of your videos on UAV Z-84 and read your webpage describing your build.  I've done FPV but not UAV.  After reading your post, I can't wait to get started.  Wings are the way to go.  For over 7 years I've flown the Crash Test Hobby "Assassin" combat wing.  Recienty, I built the CTH "Scythe" a 27" wing that only weighs 1.3 oz for the EPP wings and elevons.  The one I've completed is 12.6 oz, but it is built for speed and crashes.  The next one I build will be light and slow for park flying.  Thanks to you, I may just go with the Z-84, lots less build involved.  And UAV is my goal for my next plane.  Just wanted to thank you for the inspiration.  Robert T.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the compliments and glad to hear you're building more on delta wing platform.  I'm just glad to share some experience so that miniature/fixed wing UAV can grow among communities of builders. Right now in progress building high endurance flyer and also sub 250gram delta wing for this year 2017.  Stay tune. :)
