I have a gently used cabbage case for sale. I crashed the plane I used to house in this case and moved to a larger frame that will not fit. The box was originally bought for an event38 e384 (1900mm…Continue

Can someone help me identify this gimbal controller

Hi, I bought a quanum 2axis gimbal for a Samsung nx1100 but I can't identify the board. The one they show on the website shows a simplebgc but that's definitely not what this is. I tried flashing new…Continue

Help confirming crash origin.

I suspect equipment failure as my desired pitch and roll were vastly different than the observed and my vibrations went off of the chart at the same time.  Does the mag interference typically…Continue

Hi, Second time posting here.  I am flying a 550mm hex, with pixhawk v2 on version 3.3.3.  I was performing an autotune using ch5 as my alt hold and ch8 for my autotune.  I believed to have my…Continue

Cabbage Case for fixed wing or equipment.

I have a gently used cabbage case for sale. I crashed the plane I used to house in this case and moved to a larger frame that will not fit. The box was originally bought for an event38 e384 (1900mm wingspan and 1300mm length) but I bought a sky walker eve 2000 and it's waaaaaay too big. Original price was $600. I'm asking $500 shipped or $400 local pick up.You can contact me here but no promises that I'll see the message. You're better off emailing me at dcollar86@gmail.comSee More

Can someone help me identify this gimbal controller

Hi, I bought a quanum 2axis gimbal for a Samsung nx1100 but I can't identify the board. The one they show on the website shows a simplebgc but that's definitely not what this is. I tried flashing new firmware and seemed to brick it. I suspect it is a third party control board and I can't find anything that even looks similar when searching google images. Here it is, please let me know if you have seen this before.

"You may want to check your compass, your mag field has a very large interference as well. I agree there looks to be a mechanical failure as the desired roll/pitch radically diverges towards the end of the flight"

Profile Information

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I grew up on a corn and soybean farm in Illinois that my dad still operates. I joined the air force after high school and flew to 72 different countries as a C-17 loadmaster. After getting out of the service, I chose to get a bachelors degree from SIUE in geospatial information systems. As we learned GIS fundamentals and techniques, we studied remote sensing and it's real world applications. Once I graduated and got a job as a lock and dam operator on the Mississippi River working a swing shift schedule, I decided it was time for me to purchase a UAV to start my own precision ag/remote sensing operation.
