"There will allways be a mid size battery on board...  If the gen quits... can still land.... I have a Mix on my radio that powers up the gen as I power up the copter...  I was able to keep the voltage right around 4.0 volts /…"

"There is no battery in the system....  other than the 10000 mah 4S....  which goes to a 10 amp UBEC where I set the voltage from 5.2... to 4.9...   no difference....   I think what you said about the ESC will be out of sync…"

OK.. I have built 10-15 tri,hex,octo… ect all with AMP 1   2   2.5…  All worked fine…for the most part.. Now I am building generator-copter…  23CC gas motor powering a 2000 watt brushless motor.. To date the generator has produced over 1100 watts….  70 amps at 16 volts…  Test results show at this weight I need 7-800 watts to lift this noisy beast… A few days ago I was ready to start testing the copter itself…  APM 2.5… Hex…  with 17” CF props…See More

"  Well it did it again... Different copter...  See attached tlog... at 76%... go into loiter... at 92%... It flies off...  but it knew where it was...   no change in input 1 or input 2.... no change in output 1 or 2... …"

"I would do a log compass calibration.... This mean flying around for 5 min... disconect.... Use mission planner to cal the compass with the Tlog you just made....  Most problems I have seen with loiter is assoicated with bas compass…"
