Camera Relay Shutter trigger

Please help.I have setup my camera trigger according to Arducopter wiki pages.  I am using pin AN9 and also use ch7 (trigger camera).  Good news is if I measure the signal pin of AN9 I can see it goes high (4.65V) when I trigger ch7.  Bad news if I connect my relay (HFD23) to ground and signal pin it will not switch relay?  The voltage drop falls to about 0.325V with no switching.  I only need about 35mA to switch the relay.  I tested the relay by just connecting it to 5V and ground on AN9 and…See More

Bixler with ArduPilot flying Waypoints

Just an update on my previous Blog Post.  I have tested Loiter, RTL and Waypoint navigation on my Bixler Plane.

So far I am happy with the results.  There was a bit of wind on this specific day.  I also tested waypoints at 100m Altitude which I was looking forward to seeing the end result myself.........but my camera battery went flat..........

Chris you are welcome to link some of these videos to the Arduplane site.....

Bixler Plane setup with ArduPilot

Posted on November 23, 2011 at 12:46pm 11 Comments

I finished building my Bixler plane and did some test flights.  I was just flying in an anticlockwise circle with these tests (I have not been flying a plane for almost over a year and my last flight ended in a crash).  Yet with the ArduPilot flying is very much more easy.....  Landing is a breeze....

I am more familier with the heli's (multirotors, Quad, Hexa and Octa) but believe this plane could also be helpful to me in FPV flying.

Still learning the…

Hi Hein, to embed a video, just add an iframe.

The quickest way is to got to the video on YouTube, and click share->embed, and you'll be presented with the iframe html.  Paste that into your post by clicking the button in the menu bar that looks like a cell of film, and paste the iframe command that Youtube gave you:
