Did you ever find a resolve with your problem of the roll after flying? I am flying a quad with APM2.5 with V 2.8.1 and am having the same issue after flying in Stabilize Mode.

I am interested in automation and control of homebuilt robots of which I have built three. Recently built a Quadcopter with a ArduPilot 2.5 and have had great success flying it in manual and auto mode.
