I installed minimOSD to my zagi style FPV plane. I had trouble with PAL/NTSC fetaure and getting OSD overlay on the video screen was random. I soldered jumpers and didn't use second stage regulator.…Continue

PPM Encoder doesn't flash

I supplied my APM1.0 through ch3out port by both ESC and BEC erroneously. Then I realized that on the bottom board only red power led lights solid, yellow mux led isn't on, blue ppm led doesn't flashing.Besides, on the top board, blue power led isn't also on. Apparently some components failed/burned. There is no smoke, neither no bad looking component. APM connects to pc by usb cable. APM connnects to pc by Xbee 900 MHz. When armed Mission planner shows failsafe immediately. I checked all APM…See More

"Graham thank you very much, I read throughly your discussion. I congratulate you, you achieved your goal. However you finally applied the parachute on your quadcopter and used do_digicam_control. Somewhere in between you could make do_set_servo…"

"Hi Randy, Is there any progress in the issue you created? Will we, Arduplane users be able to use do_set_servo command soon? For a contest FFD2013 we need to release locking pin of 0.5lt water box holder during a guided flight. 3 boxes shall be…"

DO_SET_SERVO

Hello, I couldn't success to function do_set_servo command although I have tried many things. I read throughly the discussions on it and couldn't find useful info. APM Planner 1.2.36 and APM version v2.71. I appreciate to hear if anyone has succesfully used this function or know how to use it. O.K., this command is to be used after a waypoint, there must be a waypoint after this in order the mission script to be valid. I also defined RC5, RC6 and RC7 functions as "manual".See More

"Using a separate uBEC is a very good idea. I have had a couple of crashes due to APM rebooting mid air from a brownout. The rated current limits for BEC's are often wrong (especially the cheap ones) and estimating servo current draw when they…"
