RC delay to PWM output

Started May 10, 2016 0 Replies

Does anybody know why there is a ~100ms delay between receiving a RC command and when the motors begin to respond?I put a logic analyzer on my RC channel 2, which is pitch, and on the PWM outputs of…Continue

"I see that the pixracer uses an ICM20608 IMU. AP_InertialSensor_PX4.cpp only handles initializing MPU6000, MPU9250, and LG3D20. How is the inertial sensor properly initialized on this board?"

RC delay to PWM output

Does anybody know why there is a ~100ms delay between receiving a RC command and when the motors begin to respond?I put a logic analyzer on my RC channel 2, which is pitch, and on the PWM outputs of each of the 4 motors.  just to be clear, this is before they even get to the ESC, so any delay is from the FC, not from motors or ESC.I've verified that my code is reading the RC channel at 100Hz, so the maximum delay should be 10ms.I've attached a plot of the pwm of each motor and the pitch…See More

Monitoring the output using UART, everything looks fine, but when I connect to mission planner I am unable to change any parameters. I get 3 retries and a fail.I've determined that the GCS_MAVLink messages received by the flight controller are not passing a crc check because there are missing…See More
