"Sorry to hear about the problems, and glad that they seem to have been resolved. I think you had the bad luck to hit this issue right when the 3DR email system went down (it's back up again). Please let me know if you have any other issues with…"

"I contacted 3DR on 6/27 and 7/03 and did not here back from them until 8/6, thats more than a couple days.  That is unreasonable.  I know it is not their fault for the DOA part and they are now taking the correct steps with an RMA.…"

"It takes 5 minutes to test a GPS unit.  Hook up a serial ttl adapter and look for serial data.  If you get nothing then it's dead.  No need to waste a bunch of time on it, so you can't blame 3DR for that. I don't…"

"Hmm... you didn't post anything here. Did you properly power the unit and check for serial output? 3DR support is usually pretty good.  Dead components happen sometimes, but 3/4 of the time it's user error. They're probably…"

"Pete, thanks for your help, hopefully I will get it soon. The servos I have used the past go from 1-2 ms and have a center freq of 1.5ms.  I am assuming that is what you meant.  A 40Hz signal would have a period of 25 ms so I am pretty…"
