Odd question I know :-) but, I have the GPS blues like so many here and so far, clean power, no radio gear, isolating just the APM, ect, the only way my GPS will get lock and 9+ sats is to be powered…Continue

"Sweet! That means your getting some flying in :-) I have my APM's solid mounted, it seems to me that vibration issues stem from props, motors, and rotors being improperly balanced, together with the damage they do to the supporting…"

"Don't know about the APM with a simulator, I started with the Align 3GX (useless) on the 600efl and was to scared of crashing. I then bought an Align 250 flybarred to learn on and crashed that once every three battery packs, then got an APM for…"

"@ KM6VV, I am a new pilot as well (1-1/2 years), and LOVE my APM for learning with. It gives you self leveling which will give you time to orientate yourself again when things get out of control, also with the advances in "Agro" flight…"

"Good deal, let me know how it works out. I was just cleaning up the 600 heli for some flight time next weekend. We have plans to head over to Denver for the drag races and figured it would be nice to hit some of the nicer parks to fly at. I have…"

"I too have been quietly following along :-) The weather here has finally become conducive to flying and I'm getting ready to go through the 600efl in prep for a weekend of fun. When I put it away for the winter I was on 1.7.3 or something and…"

"Be aware that 5.0v +/- 0.2v is ultra critical on the APM, I mention it in regard to your comment about the behavior changing with battery voltage. This above anything else I have found will cause issues with the APM. "

"I'd definitely try a different BEC if it's showing signs of being heated... bummer I use a 3S lipo pack with a dedicated Castle Creations SBEC for my APM and power the servo's separately. It's a fairly complicated setup as I…"

"No worries with the APM, if you can't get it working I can likely sort it out if its not a dead processor. Lemme know if we need to send it back and forth. I got my end mills and the CF showed up early so I hope for a productive weekend."

"Interesting, is there a way to see what the IMU is running at (Hz) with the current code? I suspect processing the input from the MPU-6050 is eating up too many cycles, but the new APM 2.9.1 code is supposedly using the motion fusion inside the…"
