I am using configurator v1.2.1 and software 1.31 for my arducopter. The gyros do not show any movement when I twist and turn the quad. The acell pitch and roll move all over but the gyros stay centered…Continue
I am using Configurator 1.2.1 and the YAW shows backwards. I move the rudder to the left and the YAW goes to the right.I can arm my quad by throttle low and to the right and the green light starts…Continue
I am trying to use my DX6 and AR6000 receiver which use DSM and am asking if this transmitter and receiver will work with the Arducopter? If so, I will go back to trying to get it to acknowledge…Continue
"I used the EPP and they were very resistant to crash damage.
Now I am using the APC and they break much easier.
I like the APC better because they seem to respond faster to motor rpms. Better hover and response.
I just carry more spares since they…"
"I am interested in this topic too.
I have trouble seeing the orientation when flying fast or further away.
I have two legs painted red but they all look the same when zipping about.
Maybe use the brilliant red spray paint? Phosphorescent?
"What do your ESC's and motors use?
Can they use the higher voltage without burning up?
Some ESC and some motors will allow higher voltages but some will not.
My motors and ESC's will only go up to 3 cells so I stop there."
"I purchased the oilpan from DIYDrones and found it didn't work.
I e mailed and quickly received a reply telling me what to do.
I sent in my oilpan and received it back in about two weeks.
I was worried since it was my original oilpan with my…"
"Kamil you are correct. Satellites orbit the earth staying in the same orbit.
That is why you see maybe three satellites in the morning and maybe 12 the next day in the evening. They do stay in the same altitude or pretty much so."
"When starting up I power the quad and wait for the green light to steady.
Then I push the reset button and let the green light become steady again.
That seemed to solve my early problems with motors starting at different times."
"Did you make sure you do not have any trim on the throttle?
Did you set up the ESC's using the hand held controller from Turnigy?
Did you set up each ESC using the throttle channel on your transmitter?"
"There is small printing next to one button.
It says reset.
After I connect the battery and wait until the solid green comes on, I then push the reset and wait for the solid green to come on again.
This was recommended to me as a kind of fail safe…"
"Before you go out and test do this.
Hold the quad over your head and raise the throttle so all motors are spinning.
Tilt it forward and back and side to side.
The self-levelling should change the speed of the motors and resist your efforts.
"Mine is also sensitive to the throttle changes.
I removed the detent inside so it is smoother now.
The Arducopter will change altitudes as the wind moves it around so you have to constantly move the throttle to keep it where you want."
