PCB Assembly . . . Prototype and Small Run Options?

I'm wondering if there's a good company out there that can turn prototypes around for less than $300 per part?As my prototypes get smaller and more complex, I've felt the pain of doing a lot of soldering. I've been looking for a company that can alleviate that pain a bit.The last six months I've been working on a project that has growing number of parts, a lot of LQFP pins, smaller and smaller SMD parts. There have been a lot of re-designs and each time, I feel more pain of multi-day builds and…See More

"Yea. Pretty much the RTF ones aren't hackable (software) and the ones you have access to the software aren't RTF. At least at the $300 mark. But seriously, there's very little assembly on a quad. It may seem intimidating, but…"

RTF Quad

First post!  I'm in search of an inexpensive, ready-to-fly quadrocopter.  I'm wondering if anything has been done with this with the Arduino?  Specifically I'm more interested in programming and hacking, not necessarily building an entire quadcopter.  I feel like there must be something out there that's ready to fly for under $200 or $300.'Maybe I could rephrase my question: what's the least expensive RTF quadcopter that can either be hacked / programmed? Thanks for your help!See More
