Servo PWM to H-Bridge (High Current)

Hi all, as some of you might remember I was having a problem with my survey boat zig zagging terribly while carrying out a mission.  At first I thought it was a Mission Planner parameter setting, but it turned out to be the little L298N H-Bridge failing due to excessive heat.  This was caused by me upgrading the outboard motor to a Suzuki 2.5hp four stroke which turns out to have a LOT more drag on the pivot (steering) column.  This drag put extra stress on the little 2A H-Bridge causing it to…See More

"Hi Ben, For throttle, any little servo works fine, just remove the idle spring. For steering a car's wiper motor works fine, just find one with little to no play in the arm. Regards John"

"I have also noticed that the value does change when doing calibration, but when I go to Flight Modes it doesn't move (green highlite)  It is as if the flight mode channel 5 selector has been turned 'off'"

"Had the same thing but got it sorted out and she ran perfectly, then did a Mission Planner update and it is now worse than ever and I can't remember what I changed. I will try some of these settings and let you know."

I am trying to control a DC wiper motor same H-Bridge controller with arduino, but its not precise.

Can you elaborate your setup for my help ?

details of your setup and pictures or wiring will help a lot. and if you modified code for this, that will be great to share.
