"I have used the Nexstar with much success. It is very stable and forgiving in flight. I learned to fly on it and then I made it into my favorite UAV. Leave the flap things on though, they keep things stable. Just my $0.02. Oh, and joining a local rc…"

Martin Seven replied to Joshua Scurlock's discussion Xbee aircraft control question.
"I'm not aware of any similar modules with low latency. You could turn off all the error checking and re-transmit functions of the xbee and handle the error detection and correction yourself, that might help in your specific application. Or you…"

"Thank you for the link. Yeah, I was worried about latency... Are there any other options? WiFi, Bluetooth and the like won't cut it."

"It's very cool. I like how you're recycling parts from other aircraft. :] I guess you could call me a tree hugger of sorts. I usually never throw a plane away, I'll try to fix it. Even if the restore is impossible. Waste not, I say.…"
