That should work till you get a schottky 1A diode in there.

I strongly recommend using it. "

I have done absolutely nothing with the Remzibi OSD, I purchased it assuming that it would read data from the APM1 or APM2, not so. It appears the MinimOSD will but I am not sure about the software just yet. My impression of working with DIY Drones and open project is like trying to put together a jig saw puzzle made up of several puzzles mixed together and half of the pieces missing with the picture on the box totally unrelated to parts inside. My luck with the APM2 has been not to good, I took it back so it could be tested. But I am trying to fly it in Acro mode but they only fly it in Stabilized mode and they plan on dropping Acro mode because of the problems it has!!! Oh well. I have not given up on them, I trust that things will come together and it will be a great product. They have a very good foundation and are working very hard on development. Their goals are the same as mine, for now I am working on the mechanical side of things. I have been very successful at removing vibration that is messing up my video ventures and I am very impressed at how well the ducted fans work. Ed
