4K seems to be the standard resolution setting and no small wonder, 3840 pixels by 2160 lines can give spectacular results. The problem is that 4K is limited on how its broadcasted. Will 1080P then do the job? Many smaller drone cameras suggest so. See More

We live in a tumultuous time. As Isis has released a number of videos using drones for their attacks, the Australia Government has called for a possible ban on sale of drones. There are many concerns out there for individual safety. Many of those attacks include ordinary items such as trucks which brings the question, will such a ban create a safer environment? Should the…See More

Beebot kit. Wooden Drone that Really Flies

For those of you who started their business ideas on Kickstarter, you know that many inventive ideas have emerged and taken on a new life. Personally, I love this type of set up and not afraid to admit, I love the television show Sharktank for this reason. This idea is really about the kids. But what a better way to get them engaged in drones and get their scientific curiosity going.…See More

Battle of the Selfie Drones-Who Will Survive

Today is all about selfie drones. We managed to review three of the most popular selfie drones on a market right now: Yuneec Breeze, Hover Camera and Zerotech Dobby. All these drones fall in the same pricing category from 300 to 600 bucks. So we figured out that it would be fair to make a comparison. Sadly for these prices you can’t expect anything more than a toy. It's a selfie world we live in and now we can only embrace this more with selfie drones. Who would not really want a review though…See More

DJI Fly Through Courtesy of Tesla

We have seen it all. Drones that are flying in syncopation. Just when you think that the technology is evolving at a fast pace, drone flying gets a bit safer which is much better for all of us. Hasn't been the first time that I have seen a drone fly in tight quarters. Still, it is quite a rush to see a Phantom 4 fly through the middle of a Tesla, a $74,000 car. While I would hate to be the one flying the P4…See More

Phantom 3 The Latest on the Series That Refuses to Die.

Perhaps one of the biggest complaints I have heard over the years was the upgrading of drones. It seems every time there is a new upgrade, one model gets discontinued. The same is true with the Phantom 3 Series that DJI has out. Personally, I really enjoyed the Phantom 3 Advanced and Phantom 3 Professional. These are drones that I cut my teeth on and gained my confidence as a pilot. The Phantom 3 Standard, I heard mixed reviews on but at the same time, it too had more to offer then other drones…See More
