"found this motor & prop setup is more  efferent on lower voltage 3S, 4S & 5S. find that 6S generates more heat less flight time. copter should be light enough to hover on 3S battery  !"

"I'm also building an X8 along similar lines, but focus will be for 5kg payloads, not endurance (only 10-12 mins, I estimate. But theoretically it could like a gimballed nex5 for 20 mins."

"Friends of mine are working on a quad with 400kv-class motors and 17 inch props, running on 6s, and they are achieving 30 minutes with camera on gimbal, I have been told. I will updated once I learn more."

Building a 3DR-B... found a frame orientation issue

After putting the copter together over a few exciting evenings, initial test flights showed some very strange control responses with pitch and roll being swapped. I could "correct" this by swapping my Aileron and Elevator receiver channels, but that made the autopilot's stabilization input completely unpredictable. I checked my wiring and documentation, and found the following:
