Started this discussion. Last reply by Lee Jul 28, 2012. 2 Replies

Does anyone know where to buy spare bolts for the propellers?  I broke the screw shaft on one.  It doesn't look like APC ships propellers with these bolts.ThanksContinue

Interested In Programming ArduCopter

I'm not so interested in building the multirotor copter to fly it manually with an RC controller.  My interest is in programming it.  Ideally using an XBee, or other non-RF communications, I'd like…Continue

"Waaaaaaaay, novel! I wonder how precise everything is mounted since the design relies extensively on a strictly held center of rotation. I am also curious to know how they program the banking, yawing, climbing, etc. to work independently of…"

"You cannot use 6s lipos. Even 4s could be a little too much for those motors. Regarding the video you should pay attention to the specs: 2 x 11000 4s batteries @ 820g each! 14x4" props and 530kV motors..... there is almost 1.7Kg only…"

"If you are using standard 3DR or JDrones ESCs and motors, you can't use a 6-cell battery pack.  The voltage would be out of specs.  Use 3 cells or 4 cells battery packs only."
