Problem with APM mission planner & Mavlink protocol

Hi all,I repost here the same question I've posted to the ArduPlane user's group.I'm trying to connect my STM32 based autopilot with the APM mission planner 1.2.22 Mav 1.0, with a pair of 3D Robotics 433 MHz radios, without success. The APM recognizes the heartbeat messages sent by the autopilot but doesn't complete the connection. After some tweaking I traced the problem back to the REQUEST PARAM LIST message sent by APM planner: contrary to the…See More

"Hi Doug, Wow ! Flight testing UAV autopilots ! I can't disguise some envy. Thanks for the explanation, my knowledge of PID control dates some 20 years back and I wasn't that lucky to use them in my every days' job. My guess was that a…"

What method did you use to build the RQ-7 Shadow replica in your photos. It looks amazing.

Very cool. Thanks for the information. I have to say I am impressed by the use of arrows, they seem like a perfect solution to your tail boom. I plan on using carbon fiber rods from rcfoam.com for mine. How did you get the mold? is my last question (that and how well does it fly?). The body work (around the engine is my fav) looks so clean. Keep the photos coming!
