Martin Seven commented on Hunter Parris's blog post Ubiquiti XR9 XtremeRange 900MHz Embedded Radio module
"I've experimented with XR5 (pretty much the same deal as XR9, except at 5 GHz so it can be used in Europe) and Wiligear's WBD-111 micro routerboard. AFAIK still the smallest and lightest board on the market at 9x8x2 cm³ and 70 grams…"

"Anthony- This is even later, but I just wanted to add a quick comment about the Venus 634FLPx.  I've personally flown this unit to 63k feet and can verify that it worked without problems.  This is a version of the board that Sparkfun…"

Martin Seven replied to Petrus Botha's discussion How do you calculate quadcopter lifting capability?
"Assuming your power grid will be able to feed them all at once (what is that, 40 A each?), then yes, you multiply by 4 :-)"

Martin Seven replied to Chris Malyon's discussion Lipo Issues
"What are the batteries' C ratings? Assuming they're roughly the same, the larger battery will be able to feed the motors more power. The smaller battery could be the limiting factor.   Also, Turnigy SK motors are to be avoided.…"

Martin Seven commented on ARHEXA's blog post PARACHUTE anyone ?
"It might be acting like that because the open signal wire is picking up noise. Try pulling the ESC signal line low (grounding it) with a 4k7 resistor. That should take care of the noise without affecting normal communication. My Turnigy Plush, when…"
