Martin Szymanski replied to Victor Iliescu's discussion After a few months of flying, i've come to the conclusion that i have no idea how to tune this thing
"I also dial in a custom build. The weight, propeller diameter and pitch, motors, esc's,batteries used, all take in consideration. I am gracefull that this controller can deal with my variances in atmosphere heat, Density altitude, and the…"

Martin Szymanski commented on Jason's blog post Open-source ESC - is there a potential community?
"I would like this. #1 Safety to how others fly with such. #2 The ability to coordinate energies to make flight. Vertical or Horizontal. #3 The play to find how much throw will destroy safely a small hobby that flies as best one can do such."

Martin Szymanski replied to Calum Barnes's discussion Arducopter 3DRB Quad Propeller Size Range
"Yes, However they need to spin faster. A propeller is more efficient with a larger area to grab. If they are too slow with larger area then trying to coordinate the attitude of the propellers is bumpy with a 2 blade prop. A 3 blade prop with…"

Martin Szymanski replied to Victor Iliescu's discussion Sharp yaw corrections create instability in 2.71
"This might be a issuse regarding the compass if you are in simple mode. The compass can be interfered with during flight. If it changes from takeoff then there is a condition that wires produce EMF to the compass.  This is caused by throttle to…"

Martin Szymanski commented on CrashingDutchman's blog post Bixler 2 available now. Hobbyking promises better flight times
"There are many variables that help flight time. Mostly is the internal resistances of components especially batteries at hot summer weather day's. Looking at Lipo's I've decided on a Gens Ace 40 to 60 C battery at 3S. The lower…"

Martin Szymanski commented on Todd Hill's blog post Attack of the Clones!
"Rockwell software with Allen Bradley many years ago developed a fieldbus protocol called DeviceNet. It became open source for a great reason. Many manufacturers could hook up a developed device to its connection protocol and share with other…"

"I flew around today looking at the abiity of the compass learn and auto declinate features. I've found that turning them to 0 (off) that the altitude hold along with loiter are more accurate to the RC controls. Being using the APM 2 it has a…"

"Dealing with a little Fluid dynamics. One has to consider there are pressures that cooincides with area flow. All together with time it makes work in the form of Horse Power. Hp. If this efficent machine can do what it says it would be amazing."
