All the servos work just fine now..not sure how to explain this.
Could a discharged battery cause that?"

Jake Stew replied to Matt Adam's discussion Yak 54 Ultra Micro Aerobatic Airplane Servo Trouble"Sounds like you've got a stripped servo then. There's a little motor and several plastic gears inside the servo. It's very easy to strip the gears on little plastic servos.
The good news is that servos are cheap.…"

I will attempt to better describe the problem:
With gradual increases or decreases in elevator from the transmitter, the servo does nothing. Only drastic movements with the joystick have any effect on the servo…"

I bought the champ this past weekend and out of the box it was a blast! I didn't even crash it at all, including about 4 successful landings.
