"Yep.  Low power and it's probably the longest wires from the battery, or it could just be a little weaker than the rest."

"Ok, well I just recharged the battery fully and tried it again after replacing the rods and everything. It seems to work just fine now. All the servos work just fine now..not sure how to explain this. Could a discharged battery cause that?"

Jake Stew replied to Matt Adam's discussion Yak 54 Ultra Micro Aerobatic Airplane Servo Trouble
"Sounds like you've got a stripped servo then.  There's a little motor and several plastic gears inside the servo.  It's very easy to strip the gears on little plastic servos. The good news is that servos are cheap.…"

The ailerons and the rudder are functioning just fine. Smooth and reliable. However whenever I…See More

Jake Stew replied to Matt Adam's discussion My First RC Plane - Champ
"The stabilize and FBW modes in the APM really make flying a lot easier.  However...  I can't recommend getting a simulator strongly enough.  AeroFly and G4/G5 are both excellent sims.  G4 actually has a lot of lessons and…"

My First RC Plane - Champ

So I am really getting into this sport now of RC Planes. Eventually I am interested in creating a strong plane for aerial photography. However, I still have a lot to learn about flying. I bought the champ this past weekend and out of the box it was a blast!
