why the Table of Contents for APM:Plane is now shorter? Have subjects been eliminated?

I see now the table of contents now with missing sections (like geotagging link, and more.... is much shorter). It just doesn't make sense to me to eliminate parts that have been useful…Continue

Return to Home at failsafe, THEN deploy parachute whan at home. Is it possible with APM?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Mauricio Dec 14, 2013. 4 Replies

Does anyone know how set the APM to return to Home AND then command a servo when at home? in this case, it will be a parachute servo...This will be truly failsafe for our UAVs since it has parachute…Continue

Pixhawk + Dragonlink + DX8 = throttle failsafe issue

Hi,I'm trying to set a Pixhawk with dragonlink and Dx8 for adruplane. After connecting everything I realized the channels need to be remapped (Went to Full parameters list, then entered 3 for RCMAP pitch, 2 for roll, 1 for throttle and 4 for Yaw). And channels now corresponds correctly to switch movements. BUT failsafe doesn't work as it should, it works kind of inverted. When throttle stick position is in lowest 150% then I got normal control of servos & flight modes when in reality this…See More

Hi everyone,

just wanted to share our latest UAV: The Aeromapper X5, already available in our website at www.aeromao.com

It is equipped with APM 2.x (of course) and 3DR…

Aeromapper RTF UAV + APM2.5 + parachute system = easy landings!

Just sharing that the Aeromapper UAV is now ready to order with the new parachute recovery system.

Will very briefly describe a typical mission sequence so the basic setup of parachute + APM2.5 is explained (at the end). We think simplicity is king:

1. Assuming flight mission…
