GPS (NEO-M8N) does nothing after power up

Hello everyone, all of a sudden my GPS (NEO-M8N) stopped working. When I power up my Pixhawk, I get a quick blue flash on the GPS and after that nothing happens. I get GPS : No Fix error in Mission Planner. I checked the power on the Pixhawk to see if it was providing voltage, my multimeter reads 4.98V. What could be the problem?See More

"Mert, replying to your last post.. Sounds like you loaded 3.5.1 APM which includes new features and New prearm safety check Before it will let you ARM the copter. There are two ways to resolve this, one more correct than the other however, if you…"

"you need to make a video of your configuration steps. very difficult to follow you. What does one green bar going to the right means? Not following you."

"This is very easy to troubleshoot. Next time, simply test the motors inside your house without the props like a real setup. Put some tape on the motors, and piece sticking out. This way you can observe as the motors spin and as you increase the…"

"There is just one thing that keeps me thinking: the fact that the motors started speeding up when I raised the throttle stick a tiny bit. I have no clue what the problem is. I made a new model on my Taranis to start from scratch again. Hopefully…"

"Stick with default values of mission planner for the first test flight. Once it flys, save the parameter from mission planner first. Then make changes and keep savings new parameters under new files on your laptop. This way you can compare values…"

"Thanks for you answer iSkyMaster! I will reflash the firmware and do everything from scratch. I will follow your steps. What parameters or things are essential for a good first flight, except for the initial calibrations like accelerometer, ESC,…"

"I have removed the expo before attempting my first flight. I did the radio calibration multiple times, as well as the ESC calibration. The RPM of the motors match the throttle stick position when I am in ESC calibration mode, so I am kind of…"
