Counterfeit Products

Over the last 1.5 years I have been building a bit of a Frankenstein 550 Hexa. I have heavily modified a 550 (Pixhawk, AMP heavy lift motors, etc) to the point where the only aspect of 550 left is the distribution plate. Even that, I don't use the PDB.Anyhow I digress... I was looking in my bits of amassed parts and there are, in my opinion, a large number of counterfeit parts. I would like to start a discussion where people can post photos and tell-take signs of counterfeit products.Hopefully…See More

"JoeBob, This is fantastic advise and something I am going to follow. Making sense out of the flight modes on a 6 position was/is hard. However having GPS and Non-GPS as the 2 position makes this much easier to remember and practice. cheers! Mike"

"How do you get the application to connect via serial? I have tried to use FTDI drivers (current), older drivers (2.08) and cannot for the life of me get the application to connect to the SSv2 to calibrate the SS. It is really annoying!"

Stratosnapper V2 un configurable.

Hi All,I was just wondering if anyone out there had issues connecting the SSv2 via PC? I can't for the life of me get the application on Windows X64 to even fire up. The x86 does fine, but then it times out waiting for the com port to respond. I see a time out error in the java log files.I waited for four months for this... It seems to be responding to BEC and USB and it installs FTDI drivers ok, it just doesn't allow me to configure it :(Boo hiss...Cheers,MikeSee More

Hi, I have a hexacopter that I am in the final stages of configuring the peripherals. I run a 4S parallel lipo and have a AMP heavy lift motors (770kv) and aimdrox arms and landing gear. With all of this and the gimbal, I need 5v for the servo rail and 12V for the FPV and gimbal. I have bought the turnigy Ubec that supplies 5v@5a and 12v@10a and have that wired into the battery pack so I have plenty of power. My question relates to Pixhawk…See More
