"There are several producers out there making MT3329 modules.  I've used a Fastrax module that works pretty well.  One thing you probably want to check is that you can save your settings, unless you want to write code to configure the…"

External Antenna for MT3329?

Hey guys,So I'm presently working on a data logging project and am using the DIY Drones MediaTek GPS and shield.  Ideally, I'd like to have the GPS within a diecast aluminum enclosure, with a wall thickness of 2mm (~0.080 in) however, as one can imagine, this prevents the GPS from securing a lock.  Before I resort to making a cutout in my enclosure, are there any ideas for either buying or making an external antenna?Appreciate any ideas you guys may have. Thanks,NickSee More
