Olivier commented on Chris Anderson's blog post How do modern open source autopilots compare to aerospace-grade IMUs?
"> Meanwhile, let's bring this thread back on topic. What do you think of the intrinsic performance of the Honeywell IMU vs our stuff? Yes, a great topic, one that I am also particularly interested in too. With closed source companies…"

Olivier commented on Chris Anderson's blog post How do modern open source autopilots compare to aerospace-grade IMUs?
"In general have to agree with Rob's comments. IMO It's not so much that glitches cannot happen with professional aerospace companies, we all know guaranteed 100.0% error free production cannot exist, see Boeing 787, NASA, etc ... But…"

Olivier commented on Chris Anderson's blog post How do modern open source autopilots compare to aerospace-grade IMUs?
"Chris  this is not a flight stack issue, it's a hardware issue regardless of what  stack is supported. To my knowledge there's actually been two to date, the first having to do with the buzzer too close, reported here late last…"

Congratulations to accepted Ardupilot students, Google Summer of Code 2017

Every year Google proposes to fund students for the summer with its GSoC program, where open source organizations and students are announced  through a highly selective process. This year was the first time Ardupilot applied as its own entity, and Google just granted it  four student  positions. No doubt due in part to the…See More

Olivier commented on Chris Anderson's blog post More powerful Pixhawk 3 coming soon

In which a 1.7m flying wing VTOL transitions to forward flight with ... oops ... reversed elevons. As the transition starts the quad motors are active and compensate for the reversed elevons. Once the transition is completed the quad motors stop and ... the flying wing, now flying like a plane, flips 180…

Hi Olivier,

You can use it of course. Just let me know which one you like best and I'll find the high resolution original for editing or cleaning up. Except for a very few of them which were shot by a pro friend of mine, I usually take all the pictures of our gear, but I'm not a professional photographer, so you need some processing on them, surely... :-)
