3DR quadcopter for monitoring biodiversity in alps contest

SPYZ00 project

We are an italian aeronautical school.

SPYZ00 project consist in using the 3DR to monitoring the biodiversity in Alps Mountains.

The project is to using 3DR capacity to photographing regulary such spots to studying the vegetation and it's growing. Specialist noticing that the principal problem for biodiversity are the "miss-match". So that mean that such zoologic species are migrating or disappearing with vegetation changes. Actually they notice that some animals are migrating 200m higher in the Alps due to global warming...

Our first step was to studying meteorological conditions to prepare the second phase and flying a drone into mountains conditions.
