"In retrospect, yes I think my xt60 connectors were backwards because I based my new plugs on where the old ones were, not looking at the end which the 6 wire connector comes out of which is a much more reliable indicator. I'm using Pixhawk/apm…"

"Paul, Did it come from HK with the incorrect XT60 connectors on the input/output?  I just tried to do a compassmot on my Tarot 960 with Pixhawk and I am not getting any amp reading.  I am thinking that I might have the same problem.…"

"Update: problem found. The good news is that the HK power  module can be hooked up backwards (input on the output side, output on the input side) and still not blow up.  The bad news is that it doesn't read current flowing through it…"

Pixhawk and 10s Power module from HK

I'm running a Pixhawk with the 10s power module from HK and can't seem to get a current reading.I've tried multiple combinations of settings in MP and can get a reasonably accurate voltage reading but nothing at all on current for some reason.  Tried swapping cables out and no dice.  I did try flipping the pins in the parameters for config for voltage and…See More

Fly Away twice today during mission, need help with analysis

I had a fly away twice today attempting to run the same mission two different times, for some reason on the way to or around the first waypoint the copter would suddenly and violently attempt to take off.1) I have GPS glitch detection and failsafe enabled, neither kicked in but I did get a message on the HUD2) The machine loiters wonderfully even in the wind, compass and GPS seem to be working correctly in loiter.3) I ran two very short missions Monday with no issue but I've had similar fly…See More

"Great work Paul! Did you 3D print this off using your own printer? How did you incorporate the OTG cable with the radio? Is it a simple USB interface or did you do some more hacking?"

GPS wandering again

Well I thought I had this problem licked but after successfully reworking my wiring and getting compassmot correct, heading is great and now I'm starting to see GPS wandering wildly again after a few minutes of steadiness. I had this corrected up until this point, running 3.0.1 with a new ublox with the Tao glass antenna on a ground plane. Was perfect before, but now it's wandering a good 50meters or more, slowly not suddenly like before. This is at rest btw. Ay ideas on why I'd see this issue…See More
