Telemetry data sent to FrSky receiver

Is there a way to pull telemetry data from APM 2.6 and send to my FrSky telemetry capable receiver?  I realize telemetry is normally sent via Tx/Rx to the Mission planner GCS, but the FrSky telemetry…Continue

Compass not working

I have flown with APM 2.6 with the external GPS/compass for several months.   The compass has always been of about 40 degrees, but I haven't worried too much about it, as the plane flies missions well.   With the latest 2.75 plane, it began throwing an error if the GPS and compass do not line up.  I have attempted manually entering declination, auto-declination, and live calibration, but nothing has increased the compass accuracy.  I had a magnet directly behind the compass for a couple months…See More

"Yes, not the 16 channel receiver though. You can use the connection where the sensor hub plugs into, NOT the smartport, and NOT sbus.  I am running mine with a D4R-II receiver, and the jdrones IO board software running on an arduino pro mini…"

Telemetry data sent to FrSky receiver

Is there a way to pull telemetry data from APM 2.6 and send to my FrSky telemetry capable receiver?  I realize telemetry is normally sent via Tx/Rx to the Mission planner GCS, but the FrSky telemetry viewer seems to be a quicker/lighter solution.  It looks like the 5 wire APM telemetry output would have to  somehow connect to the receiver.  If I haven't described it well then www.frsky-rc.com, then search for FLD-02 display screen. See More

Fence breach and return drop in altitude

the return point altitude doesn't appear to work. After returning to the fence and getting to Return point, then my plane cuts power and took a deep dive, and I had to recover manually.  I have 0 min and max fence altitude, so it should follow alt_hold_rtl, which is set at -1.   Therefore maintain altitude.  Any ideas?  Log is attatched.…See More

Loiter and RTL not working now

A few weeks ago, I had these modes working, then I added a few failsafes and accepted a few MP updates, and now Loiter and RTL does not respond.   I can hear the motor hesitate as if going to a different mode, but the plane will not begin the circle.. just keeps flying straight ahead.   The loiter was so cool and I hate that it isn't working... I want to move on to waypoints and mission planning, but need to get the basics down first.  Any ideas?  I don't know what to look for in the logs to…See More
