What would be the total flying weight, without battery for this X8 you want to modify and what are the maximum propeller sizes that you can install on it ? I can then check your configuration

Thanks so much for the prompt response it is 3071 grms.  The battery is a 10,000 mah 10C 4S 14.8 V. (822 grms)

As far as the props, it runs on 11 X 4.7 and it only have about an inch between props - not much room - but I was thinking of replacing the aluminum arms with carbon fiber to reduce the weight; so maybe I could increase the length of the arms and it could run larger props - if needed be?

Thanks so much for your help!

Rafael

I would then advise to run on 700Kv motors such as the 3510-700Kv or the 3110-700Kv which can turn up to 12" props on 4S batteries.
