"I was just about to ask the same thing. Will go and try that now. I see the new telemetry kits have a direct USB in, not like the old one. "

"Hi, nobody tried guided mode with px4 ? I tried again yesterday, with more altitude, wating a longer time in guided mode and with a waypoint set. It seems to RTL as soon I switch to guided mode, not taking the waypoint I set into account. I made…"

"Hi, I run ardupilot software on a px4fmu + px4io on an hexa with no problem on following modes : stabilize, alt hold and loiter. I wanted to try the guided mode but I run into problems. I programmed it on CH5 and tried it with a GPS lock and a…"

"Hi, I think that USB connection problems are related to USB power supply. I ran into the same issues until I plugged an USB hub with its own power supply between my laptop and the px4. For your radio errors during prearming checks, did you run the…"

My PX4 mini hexa

Hi, I start a subject to describe my new hexacopter. It has approximatively 10 flights and works quite well. The frame is of my own design but with a big inspiration from flyduspider. It's setup is as follow : 30 cm motor to motor, center plate cut from standard size 160x100 0.5mm fr4 epoxy. It weights 280 grams ready to fly, including the fcu, an ublox GPS, a 433 MHz 3DRadio with a custom quarter wave antenna, a spektrum rx satellite (actually the HK orange one), a camera, a 200 mW 5.8 GHz…See More

"Hello, I've had many difficulties connecting the PX4 via USB until I put an USB hub between the PC and the px4. The USB hub has its own power supply. I think it was underpowered when directly connected to a PC USB port. My 2 cents Remi"
