I have the Bixler RC plane from Udrone.com...I just took it out to the field and it had nearly no lift. It would be in the air for maybe 3 seconds then bank right and nose dive to the ground. I don't…Continue

When I try to switch modes using my R/C controller it only switches between the very first mode and the very last mode. How can i switch into the third or fourth mode? I have the Spektrum DX5e. ThanksContinue

Bixler Wings

Do I need to glue the wings to the bixler? I feel like it would be easier not only for transportation if I don't, but also when the plane eventually crashes and I need to buy new wings. Thanks!- Rob…Continue

I have the bixler RC plane and was wondering if anyone made some sort of packaging or a way to have the plane safely travel in a car after everything is glued together. Thanks!- Rob ZybrickContinue

"I use a 2200mah 30c batteries. Even heavier than yours. Loads of power. Are you sure the prop isn't the wrong way around, for some reason? I think the little number should be facing back.  The Bixler is designed to carry FPV gear, even…"

"7mm!!! It's 7 CM!  If you really did put it 7MM behind the leading edge, that explains everything. WAY too nose heavy.  I fly a Bixler with the full 3DR setup every week. Stock motor, props. Works great."

"Did the center of gravity 7mm behind the wing...saw that online. The battery I'm using is a LiPo 1250mAh 11.1V 3 cell. I know bixler is a great plane, just feel like its too heavy with everything on it. Any thoughts?"

My original idea for the transportation involved wood, foam, and cement cylinders. After conversing with my father we put our ideas together and came up with an easier, lighter, and more effective design...classic engineering.

The new idea consists of a PVC tube frame with cement cardboard cylinders cut in half, and surrouded with bubble wrap.…
