Does the APM have to be mounted in the center of my quad? Or can it be moved forward?

QAV400 PID settings

Just set up a QAV 400 and need some help with the PID settings.  It still wobbles fast when i take off and hover.  but after i fly for a few and then hove to land it doesnt wobble at all.  Any ideas?Continue

"Check your MP setup to make sure that the GPS is listed as part of the hardware and the correct one selected. It may be that your APM does not know it is there...if you updated firmware, reloaded, etc. -=Doug"

For the past week my GPS hasnt been able to get a lock.  So i thought maybe it was because its been cloudy and crappy out.  So i finally got a nice clear sunny day.  Still no lock!  Checked it every few min while i was flying and the blue light didnt start blinking until after 8min of flying.  Any ideas?  is my GPS bad?  I have it mounted on the top of the quad clear of everything.  Anyway to cehck if its good. Id hate to order a enw one if this one is fine but i really need it.  Thanks!  I…See More
